A new family arrived on Tuesday, K and Little K. Little K is having the best time playing with the yellow and red Little Tykes car (Remember those?) in the downstairs of the day center. His dad is working on the computer, figuring out life things, and K is having a fun time playing with matchbox cars, with the two carboard boxes we had laying around, and of course, riding around being a police officer in his yellow and red car! Whenever I venture down there to get something, he gives me a big wave and a huge smile. It’s wonderful to see kids just being kids and parents being able to feel safe and sound...

We are down to 2 families in program….for the next hour…. and then back up to 3 again!

As the Day Center Turns
So far March is the month of our families moving and grooving onto their new adventures!
One family moved out last week into transitional housing. Another family moved out on Wednesday into her new apartment, and a third went on Wednesday for her transitional housing interview! Now THAT is a HUGE turnaround!
One mom and her little guy are just the sweetest...

I am happy to say that all guests are on the mend from the YUCK and seem to be feeling much better!
Our family of 4 have been BUSY BUSY! Mom and dad both received offers to new jobs in the past few weeks...

A New Hope
One of the participants who was provided Wheels UP funding for a car has been building her credit for over a year, working hard and making better choices for herself and for her family. ZJ is working full-time and providing for her family in a way she couldn’t before!
ZJ even provided dinner for our FPHCR shelter families to give back!
